The CAF Women’s Champions League is an annual African women’s club football competition launched in 2020 and organized by the Confederation of African Football. It is the female counterpart of the CAF Champions League.Six sub-confederations each conduct a qualifying tournament, with the winner from each zone joining the tournament host and the defending champions at the centralized finals
Mamelodi Sundowns won the inaugural title in 2021, defeating Hasaacas Ladies of Ghana 2–0 in the final in Cairo. They reached the 2022 final but were beaten 4–0 by AS FAR of Morocco. In 2023, hosted in Ivory Coast, Sundowns reclaimed the title with a 3–0 win over SC Casablanca in the final.
