CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUALIFIERS
OUR JOURNEY
The CAF Women’s Champions League COSAFA Qualifiers is an annual qualification tournament for the CAF Women’s Champions League, organized by COSAFA for its member nations.The competition features clubs from across Southern Africa — including South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Mozambique, Malawi, Namibia, Eswatini, and others.
Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies won the inaugural edition of the COSAFA qualifier in 2021, defeating Black Rhinos Queens of Zimbabwe 3–0 in the final. In 2022, they lost the COSAFA final on penalties to Green Buffaloes of Zambia, but still qualified for the continental finals as defending CAF Women’s Champions League holders.
