Wendy Shongwe is a South African forward who joined Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies in 2025. She developed her football at the University of Pretoria and has represented Banyana Banyana at international level. Shongwe also combines football with athletics and was named Player of the Tournament at the 2021 Women’s Varsity Football.
