Diski Team Hit the Road to Visit Richards Bay

Mamelodi Sundowns’ Diski Team are on the road this weekend to play their 27^th match of the season when they meet the Richards Bay Reserves on Sunday morning at Chatsworth Stadium in KwaZulu-Natal.

With only three matches remaining, including the trip to Durban, the young Brazilians colours will be looking to complete the season as strong as possible in the race from the DStv Diski Challenge title.

Masandawana sit second on the tally, just three points behind the log leaders. They will be playing against a ninth placed Richards Bay. This is a side that Masandawana lost 1-0 against earlier in the season. With how crucial the final moments are for them, a win is the only result they anticipate in this fixture.

In their previous match, Bafana Ba Style were on the road for a midweek fixture against Polokwane City where they won 3-1 courtesy of Liam Marthinus, Oarabile Booysen and Bennet Mokoena’s goals.

Their Richards Bay counterparts, on the other hand, played to a 2-2 draw away from home. They have been in good form, despite the unfavourable results. With a well-coached team like them, this promises a difficult encounter for the Pretoria-based side but the with their eyes fixed on the title, they will look to play their hearts out for a positive result.
