Lebo Mothiba is a South African striker who returned to the country in 2025 to join Mamelodi Sundowns after a decade playing in France. He developed at Sundowns before moving to Europe, where he represented Lille, Valenciennes, Strasbourg and Troyes. Mothiba was part of Sundowns’ 2025/26 CAF Champions League-winning squad and featured in the second leg of the final against AS FAR, having a goal ruled out for offside. He continues to provide experience and attacking depth to the Sundowns squad.
