Mothobi Mvala is a South African defender who joined Mamelodi Sundowns in 2021 after establishing himself with Highlands Park and then SuperSport United. Comfortable playing in defence or midfield, Mvala has represented South Africa at senior international level and has become a versatile option within the Sundowns squad. He was part of the club’s 2025/26 CAF Champions League campaign and the squad that won the title.
