Sphelele Mkhulise is a South African midfielder who has been part of Mamelodi Sundowns since progressing through the club’s academy. He joined the senior team in 2018 after loan spells away from the club and has since established himself as a versatile midfield option. Mkhulise was part of Sundowns’ 2025/26 CAF Champions League-winning squad, contributing during the club’s run to the title. He has continued to feature for Sundowns in the 2026/27 season, including scoring twice in his opening two league appearances.
